Short Bio
Hansel Eagle was born and raised in a small fisherman’s village in the west fjords of Iceland and is the oldest of three brothers. His acting roots lead back to grade school where he got major parts, three years running in three different plays, one set up each year in the school community.
Always having had a thirst for exploring and adventure, he left home at the age of 16 to study languages in a boarding school. Getting a diploma in English, Deutsch, French and Danish, he saddled up and moved abroad at the age of 20, to study the Spanish language and do voluntary work with troubled children in Costa Rica. Earning a living as a house painter he traveled all over the world for a few years after that, visiting every inhabited continent. After a few years studying back in Iceland, he wound up in Norway working as a ski instructor and got into extreme sports like skydiving and paragliding. Landing a few model gigs on the side he got back into acting. Now his focus is more on movies and the mind although he also does modelling and voice acting. After hiking in the Himalayas to Everest base camp he got his yoga teacher certificate in Nepal where he spent several months in Kathmandu doing yoga. He has had 3 lead roles in full feature films to date, two in Icelandic and one in English.
